Women of Purpose seeks to develop women of all ages holistically.
Our aim is to help them recognize, hone, and use their spiritual gifts for the building of the Kingdom.
We encourage all women to glorify God and grow in God’s Word. This development should add value numerically and physically to the body of Christ.
When we gather with others, we want these spiritual gifts to come to the fore so that we can use them to help each other as we build His Church, and we can do this by sharing the gospel with others and living lives as unto God.
From the social aspect It is more than event planning, craft
meetings, luncheons and community service. Yes, we want to expose our ladies to these activities being mindful that they could make a living out of such. However, as we are honing our skills we are also learning to be effective women, who can manage a home; train up their children; be the help meat to their husbands and finally being peers to those women who need a listening ear and a helping hand.
Come join us every other Saturday, as we live out the lives of the Proverb 31 woman: 26-27,29 “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
Often time we hear that our youth are the leaders of tomorrow. At PWC we want to make them leaders for today, because tomorrow is promised to no one.
The peer pressure that is very present and real is why we endeavour to bring our young people together in an environment that is conducive to learning how to navigate this life as a youth.
The Trailblazers, the name of the Youth Ministry groups caters to children from the age of 10 to 25.
The Ministry is broken down into two groups, because of the age range. There is a 11-15 and the 16-25.
Our aim is to:
- Teach children to grow in their relationship with the Lord.
- To prepare them to serve Christ in all that they do
- To recognize what is a healthy relationship amongst their peers
- To resolve conflict and not aggravate it
- To recognize that there is fun to be had as a Christian
We meet on Fridays at 7 pm, in the sanctuary or on a Zoom platform
For approximately 1 hour every Sunday we have provided a structured entity called Sunday School that seeks to reinforce the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in a bite size, manageable, comfortable environment.
This is a time when the gospel is broken down for all ages from babies to adulthood. In this hour persons are taught the gospel in an interactive manner – you can share, ask questions, debate even albeit respectfully.
Whatever the Pastor’s theme for the year as laid upon his heart by God, is also broken down for every age so that we are all working together. However, we know that sometimes on any given Sunday, teachers and students may want to tackle the topic of the day and there is room for that.
PWC Sunday School Department also gives persons platforms to exhort and preach and an avenue to develop their gifts and talents. All these things are done to the honour and glory of God.
Vision20Men is a ministry with a movement. We seek to develop men into becoming passionate disciples for Christ and to guide them into Biblically sound relationships in their families, communities and churches by making continual deposits into their spiritual, emotional, and economic development as they seek their rightful place in the Kingdom of God.
Find community at PWC - Connect Groups are designed to provide a smaller group setting where you can create deep friendships and relationships.
